Shawn Kosmo (they/them) is a freelance filmmaker born in Sudbury, ON, specializing in music video production. They founded Here Kitty Kitty Productions in 2012, and in that time, have produced over 70 music videos. In 2020, during the summer lockdown, Kosmo partnered with River & Sky music festival to produce 30+ artistic live session videos to help promote emerging artists during this pandemic. Currently, Kosmo is expanding their repertoire beyond music videos, moving their way into documentary filmmaking, as well as creating promotional content for small businesses and organizations.

In 2017, Kosmo was  awarded the Emerging Artist award in the Sudbury Mayor’s Celebration of the Arts for their video work, as well as their involvement in the arts community. Kosmo graduated from the Film & Television Production program at Humber College in 2015, receiving an advanced diploma. Kosmo is also a musician and lover of nature.
